Always having had a very sensitive stomach, I attributed it to stress. Nerves have a funny way of messing with your digestive system.
After much nagging on the part of my sister-in-law (I know she loves me) I finally conceded and went to visit my nephew’s naturopath. My nephew is autistic and this doctor was the first to identify for him that autism and a leaky gut are related. If this man started the healing path for my nephew, then I can trust him to take care of my tummy too.
Send me a PM if you are interested in the supplements that help me keep my symptoms at bay. I don’t suggest that you use what I use. You should do your homework first, not all supplements will work with your own body. Self diagnosed trial and error can be harmful and expensive (trust me, I’ve tried). I checked with my doctor too since I was skeptic of alternative medical treatments. This is all legit but only works if it’s combined with healthy eating and exercise.
We are trying out one week of recipes and hopefully be disciplined enough to follow through with them. We modify them slightly where we have enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch. (This family isn’t much into sandwiches for lunch)
One Pan Chicken and Veggies – this meal is easy enough that any teen can make it.
One Pot Chicken Alfredo – keep in mind if you have a sensitive tummy, remove the center
Stuffed Chicken Parmesan – for three people
More to come…stay tuned..
